The Waspas from Excellent Carwash Amsterdam is a rechargeable card that gets you a discount on every wash programme. You top it up in advance by iDEAL or on site, then pay from your balance. There is no subscription and no direct debit. Register your card and you receive a €5 bonus.
How much you save
The discount applies as soon as you pay for the full wash from your Waspas balance. Per programme that works out as:
- The Best: €21.00 → €19.00 (you save €2.00)
- Most Chosen: €19.00 → €17.50 (you save €1.50)
- Standard: €15.50 → €14.50 (you save €1.00)
- Budget: €12.50 → €12.00 (you save €0.50)
Waspas or subscription?
The Waspas suits you if you wash irregularly, a few times a quarter, or only when the car really needs it. You pay nothing when you do not come, and you are not tied to anything.
If you wash twice a month or more, unlimited washing is almost always cheaper. If you are unsure, ask at the barrier: our staff will work it out for you on the spot.
Registering your card
Registering is not a formality but protection. An unregistered Waspas behaves like cash: lose it and your balance is gone.
Save your details in the customer portal using your card number and the temporary password issued with the card. Tick the box to be kept informed and you receive the €5 registration bonus.

Alongside the personal Waspas there is a business version with VAT invoicing and a per-numberplate breakdown, and a separate card for taxi drivers with rates matched to high wash frequency.

If you saved your email address in your Waspas account you can request a new password yourself in the customer portal. If not, please contact us.
I have lost my Waspas. Is my balance gone?
Not if we have your details. If your name, address or email address is registered, we can trace your card number, block the card and transfer your balance to a new one.
How do I avoid losing my balance?
Save your card number in your online account, note it down so you can quote it at the barrier, and register your personal details. A lost card can then always be recovered.
How do I get the registration bonus?
Save your personal details and tick the box to be kept informed by email or SMS. You then receive a €5 registration bonus on your Waspas.
What is my current balance?
Your current balance is shown as soon as you log in to your online account.
How do I top up my Waspas?
Top up with iDEAL in your online account, or in person at our site at Langsom 2.
Do I get a discount with my Waspas?
Yes. You get a discount on every wash programme as soon as you pay in full with the balance on your Waspas. The Best, for example, costs €19.00 instead of €21.00.
