How we started

In 2018 we opened at Langsom 2, in Sloten on the edge of Amsterdam Nieuw-West. The idea was simple: build a car wash people actually enjoy visiting, where the car comes out genuinely clean rather than almost clean.

In 2020 we added the self-service bays with Autorette equipment, so anyone who prefers to wash their own car can do so 24 hours a day. In early 2022 the whole site was rebuilt: new fittings, new LED lighting and a layout that flows more logically.

Why we pre-wash by hand

Most car washes send your car straight into the brushes. The problem with that is that abrasive dirt (sand, grit, dried mud) then gets moved across your paint by those brushes.

We do it differently. Every car gets a manual pre-wash first, in which our wash experts remove the stubborn dirt by hand and with water. Only then does the car enter the lane, where nothing but wet textile brushes touch the paint. It costs us more time and more staff, and it is exactly why your car comes out scratch-free.

Water and the environment

We have our own groundwater source and our own water treatment plant with softening and osmosis filters. All dirty wash water is captured and treated rather than discharged.

The shampoo and wax we use are fully biodegradable. Because the final rinse is lime-free osmosis water, your car dries without water spots, which also saves you work with a cloth afterwards.

Our guarantee

We guarantee your car leaves our car wash properly clean. If you are not 100% satisfied, tell us at the barrier and we simply wash it again. That is not small print: our staff are authorised to make that call on the spot.
